ROBINIA STAKES AND POSTS

I. Traditional sawn stakes and posts

 

Manufactured from round Robinia timber by two or more lengthwise cuts to produce quarters, sixths, or eighths, this merchandise comes in wedge-shaped, round timber, or other irregular polygon profiles and may be used in vineyards and fruit production plantations; they make excellent fencing posts.

Usual dimensions:

  • Length: between 180 and 250 cm
  • Cross section profile: 18–24 cm2, 24–30 cm2, 32–40 cm2, 40–50 cm2

 

Minimal order quantity: 1 full truckload (24-25 tons) of merchandise.

 

 

II. Split stakes and posts

 

Manufactured from round Robinia timber by lengthwise splittings to produce quarters or sixths, this merchandise comes in wedge-shaped or round timber profiles; grades are:

  1. naturally grown (not trimmed, no worked crown)
  2. roughly (once) trimmed (no worked crown)
  3. twice trimmed, with worked crown

For vineyard and fruit plantation applications. Usual dimensions:

  • Length: 130 cm, 140 cm, 160 cm, 180 cm and 225 cm
  • Cross section profile: 18–24 cm2, 25–33 cm2, and 33–40 cm2

Minimal order quantity: 1 full truckload (24-25 tons) of merchandise.

 

 

III. Cylindrical posts

 

Natural shape Robinia timber posts as grown, pointed by cuts on four sides or not pointed, bark removed or not removed; they may be used e.g. in vineyards and fruit growing and make excellent fencing posts.

Usual dimensions:

  • Length: between 100 cm and 350 cm
  • Top diameter: 6 to 8 cm, 8 to 11 cm, 12 to 15 cm, 16 to 18 cm

Minimal order quantity: 1 full truckload (24-25 tons) of merchandise.
